With all I said a minute ago if you decide you really want to change to 130 gr. Federal Fusion's has shot the best groups of any factory load my 270's.

Try the federal vital shok blue box at walmart 130gr $12.97 I had less than half inch groups at 100 yards.

I use 130gr Core-lok's in my 270 and get 1 inch groups (if I do my part) at 100yds.

I've always used 130gr Nosler Partition hand loads. If you can find a factory load that shots well in your rifle you are lucky. Under 1 MOA is really nice and if you hunt west Texas
Muleys you will surly have to stretch your barrel fairly often.
Sounds like you may have to do a remount on that scope as those groups are large under the conditions you mentioned.
