I've shared with y'all before, but 4 years ago my good friend passed away at the age of 34. his son cody is great friends with my boy Nolan. his father, just days before his passing, asked me to help raise him and watch over him. As part of this, I take him on a yearly hunt with my son and a good buddy of mine. Today we leave for rickey hunt's ranch...looking forward to the smile on Cody's face as he is able to to something his dad just started him on before he passed...hunting. pics to follow!

hunted the pouring down rain. saw some stag and huge fallow but everything is super spooked.
