Budy of mine sold his a couple years ago, 4x4 with the 360 in great shape, traded it in for 2000 dollars... If I would have known that's what he was going to do with it I would have given him that or more. Would have made a great ranch truck.

Had a white 99, I used as an everyday driver, plus road type hunting trips..it was a dependable rig...gas mileage lagged but, I never had any problems with it, and it would take some abuse and never complain...wish I hadn't let my wife and friends brow beat me into a new Z-71...You should be happy with that one.

I don't know what erra your calling a new z71, but I have a 2011. I have put that truck through hell on occasion and it has been nothing short of great. Last year I cut some mesquite firewood and neatly stacked the whole bed full and mounded it in the middle then dropped it in 4 low and gave it all she had for about 6 hours dragging stuff out of a dozed pile. It was enough to break 2 tow straps and have the tires spinning in dry dirt with 2500 lbs of wood in the bed.

Nice truck, I believe this truck has a great platform if you decide to have a off road rig.
