Still a young deer, I would give him another year or two.

Agreed, if he makes it depends on where you'r at and who is around ya for miles and how they are on letting him walk or not...

I can't tell from the pics. Does he have the un-branched "stump" from the broken off antler left? If not he is not legal as he does not have one un-branched antler. He did at one time, but doesn't now. If the entire "missing" antler is gone he's illegal. No unbranched antler.

Before I get yelled at: "For counties with Special Antler Restrictions, a legal buck deer has: 1. at least one unbranched antler, or 2. an inside spread of 13 inches or greater. The inside spread requirement does not apply to any buck that has an unbranched antler. Not more than one buck with an inside spread of 13 inches or greater may be taken."

They worded that very specifically. Nothing about "absent antler." And his inside spread is zero, not "infinity." LOL

Should be your call, him being broke off may mean that he has weak bones and may need to go! But your call.

I've been told that broken does not constitute, naturally unbranched, therefore illegal..
