1 - Public or private lands? 2 - You HAVE to have a valid Texas hunting liscence when hunting in the state. 3 - I believe the ONLY thing you can shoot from a boat is duck & maybe hogs. Not sure about "owner of section of river" Didnt think you could OWN moving water. 4 - If the landowner GIVES you (written is better) permission you can hunt for what they say you can. Once you talk(face to face is best) about access to hunt & gain permission, best to at least CALL & let them know when YOU will be on the land hunting.

Not meaning to have my questions seem harsh, just with a couple of the other posters we had a while back asking things like that, just wanted to know where the asker was coming from. Sorry.
