Got the skunk Saturday....saw very very few birds and no one even fired a shot in our group as well as another group that was on the same property. Others I spoke with did better in different locations but very few bang up hunts from what I hear that day. Sunday we did better with 20. Other groups I talked with also did better with several of them limiting.

Overall I'm not bummed at all with the less than stellar results...while the numbers were not great I still had an awesome time just getting out there.

Every day you wake up and get to go is a good one. The hunting is almost always good but not the killing.

but if you got the rollover tags you can use last year's tags this year. Just like rollover minutes from Sprint. You paid for 'em, you should get to use 'em!

We hunted up around Lubbock this weekend. Shot 21 Saturday morning and another 24 Sunday morning. There were a lot more flying Sunday that Saturday.

Probably 3 or 4 years ago I started saying how dumb the teal tag jokes were and how it's old and played out....people started to agree...got to the point were when someone said a teal tag joke most people were annoyed. I then discovered a wonderful avenue to troll.
