I know y'all are probably getting tired of these , but I just picked this guy up from the taxidermist last night and was wonder what y'all think he would score? His inside spread was 19 1/2 just for a little reference. He has 2, 3-4" kickers that can't be seen in this picture...

Looks like he stood in a cross-wind too long! No idea, man. But I like the uniqueness (?) in his rack. Pretty cool.

Yeah... he's kinda crazy... his main beam actually goes straight back away from his head about two inches before turning up and curving out...

Lots of charactor but won't score very well IMO. Tines aren't very long and mass is pretty average. Bet he won't go over 120...but who cares. Great looking buck!

That is my idea of a real trophy buck, something that is natural and away from the "Cookie Cutter" main frame 8 or 10 point.

Score wise, 125 maybe 130, to me it does not matter, that buck has character, and in my little world character matters much more than duplicity. JMO.

Good Looking buck regardless of the score.

reminds me of one a saw in a taxidermy shop one time. The guy took two different sheds and mounted them with a doe cape, one side was really tall and the other side was wide. He said he read an article about what type of rack people preferred tall or wide, so he decided to please everyone. I'm not saying that your deer is fake, just telling a story. Nice deer, very unique

Love the unusual rack! Sorry but I can't guess a score though.

Thanks guys, I never did get him scored. If I ever find someone that can score, I would just for the fun of it. It didn't shoot him for the score, I shot him cuz he looked cool, and I liked his rack. I have a few symetrical 8's and 10's and I wanted something crazy looking...

I have him with 80 down and 45 up with the extra points, so i've got him around 125. I actually was thinking 130 before I took a closer look. Looks like his Left Main beam is short, real short - like around 15", while the Right beam is closer to 20 with a mass of 25.

I can't get a good look at the first mass measurement. I think I can see some extra stickers right there, and the beam almost looks like it could be 6-7" in circumfrence if that is the case instead of the 4.5" I have him in my score.

Overall it is a great looking buck.

His left main beam is not short at all. It actually goes straight back away from his head about 4-6 inches before turning up. I am going to take some better pics with my digital camera and put them up.

Well, not sure what kinda accuracy I have, but I got on Boone and Crockett's website and followed their instructions. It came out 118 4/8 with 27 in deductions... So would that make his gross 145 4/8?

Hey, did you happen to notice if he had some sort of trauma to the right side of his body somewhere? That rack kinda looks like he may have been injured on the opposite side.

He had a very distinct limp, but there was no visible injury...

There are quite a few deductions on his rack, but he should score around 108. Was he taken in a high fence?

I feed Indian Corn, the deer really seem to like it and stay at the feeder longer......and longer....!
