i bought mine from academy a few weeks ago and was wondering how long it usually take before i get it in the mail??
what if i dont` get it buy Saturday?? i kept my receipt can they print one out for me? or how does this work??

It is listed on your license as a purchase. I'm not sure if they would ticket you if you didn't have the stamp affixed to the license but I'd like to think they wouldn't.

Bought mine at wallymart on 8/22 and got in the mail on 09/06
U will be ok for teal, it shows u bought it. If not recieved by 09/20 i would call academy

You get a 45 day temporary on your license and the stamp should get there within that time. Mine took about 2 weeks but if it doesn't come you should be fine as long as it hasn't been 45 days

Last year mine never came, and I hunted all season without it ... just the receipt showing I paid. I never got checked after the 45 days, so I'll never know how it would have turned out.
About 3 or 3-1/2 weeks ago I happened to be at the post office, and while there I bought my duck stamp. And from now on, that's what I will do.

Last year I was in the same boat...never came
This year it came within 2 weeks but I was expecting to have to visit the Post Office at the 45 day mark

If it doesn't come you can call the Texas Parks and Wildlife and they will give you a number to the company that issues the duck stamps you can call them and tell them it never came in they will re send a new stamp to you the envelope looks like junk mail so be careful you don't throw it away

Bought mine online 8/29.....stamp arrived today Bought mine same day, got it a week ago. Signed and stuck on license right then so I didn't forget.

So you are fine w/o the stamp as long as your 45 day period has not passed/expired... I got my license few days before open at Academy, and my stamp just came in.

Bought mine at the parks office around Aug 21st and got it in like a week and a half.

Make sure that you tell them you need teal tags in addition to your stamp.
