Wondering if anyone know of some places around Fort Worth, Denton area to take my wife whose never been hunting before to go Dove hunting. If anybody has any suggestions, or are day leasing for next week please let me know. Thanks

craigslist is a good place to look. There is usually lots of day lease dove spots advertised there.

I looked there a couple times but was wanting some recommendations. I have had 2 bad experiences on CL both of them being they didnt own/have permission on the land.

Usually only 15 empty hulls???? Can you teach me? I usually end up with a plastic grocery bag full by the end of the day.

You will find plenty of leases in that area but less doves.
Go south west of fort worth close to godley

A few years ago I bought the $40 TPW&D permit. The state had leased up quite a few fields around Krum and Valley View and up to Gainesville you could dove hunt on. A little crowded opening weekend, but hunted a few times later in the season and didn't see too many people.
