This is SGT. Rodriguez up here at FT. Campbell KY.My home of record is TX. I have seen alot of posting regarding affordable hunts in the DFW area. I AM INTERESTED! Guide me in! Planning a trip to Dallas in November. I want to book a 3 day or so hunt with my older brother and three children. Please advise...

Tell me more. Looking at 2 to 3 days. I am active duty military traveling from Ft Campbell KY. 2 Adults 3 children. Children are just observing. All under 10 yrs of age. Ok! I really do appreciate all of the help. I think we are getting closer to closing on booking a hunt. I am hoping to get more information on some ranches in the DFW area that will work in somewhat of a better deal for my kids, "all under 10 years of age".
They are not hunting, but learning about the sport, stalking, tracking , being very quiet, etc. So far as it stands, only one ranch so far is waiving a charge on the children. The reality is that the more money I save up front, the more I am willing to put into the ranch that we choose. Bottom line is what you save me is going right back to you. Fees, ad on's, tips etc...

Victor I am a fellow Screaming Eagle. I have some buddies that guide hog hunts in Canton. Canton is about an hour drive east of Dallas on I20. They are very resonable and I am sure you will not be disapointed. I link up with them everytime I go back home and am never disapointed. If you are interested I can give you their number. They have a website called Redneck Hoggers.com

If you want a GREAT HUNT/EXPERIENCE...Contact Bob at HUNTERS CREEK RANCH in Mount Vernon Tx. This place is awesome. Hunted there twice and booked again for FEB 2014. 250/day you get 2 hogs (one over 150lb and one under). Plus room/board and 3 meals a day! Hard to beat this place!
