I was emailed this lease, It looks like a great deal, I would of gotten it in a heartbeat but I already found a lease for myself. If anyone's interested pm me for there phone#
I have three last spots available on ~2600 Ac.
Description: The Corbett Ranch is located approx. 13 miles West of Raymondville TX, on Hwy 186. The property is approximately 2600 acres, bordered on the North side by the King Ranch, and the South side by Federal and State Wildlife Refuges. The East side is bordered by the Sal Vieja Lake, and another portion of the Corbett Ranch that feeds protein. The West side is bordered by mostly row crops. The ranch is low-fenced. The ranch has a diversity of vegetation; from salty scrub to more lush wild olive brush, to mesquite brush, and grassy pastures. The ranch did not get hunted last year. There are several ponds with water in them and stay full, by virtue of solar pumps and fortunate rains. Water is VERY scarce in the surrounding area, attracting game to the property.
The main camp house over looks the salt lake, from a hill top. The main camp house is set up with large kitchen, living, and dining areas. The camp is air conditioned and there is a flat screen TV and satellite service to enjoy the college and NFL football games. The patio is under roof, with barbecue pits, washer pit, and fire area. The ranch has a very healthy population of Nilgai, Deer, Pigs, Dove, Quail (depending on the year), Turkey, Javelina, and some waterfowl including sandhill cranes. RV hook-ups are available under covered parking.
The Deal: The lease will be considered full, upon acquiring 14 members. The price per gun is $6100.00, all-inclusive. Each gun will have a game ticket of 1 nilgai (bull or cow), 1 trophy buck, 2 does, 5 pigs, and 1 turkey. Dove, Quail, and Waterfowl harvesting is merely subject to state/federal law, but is not limited by the ranch. There are currently 3 spots available. Trailer hook-ups are abundant, or existing skids are available, as well. The skids are air conditioned and in working order, but could use a coat of paint and a clean floor.

Sounds like a good deal. Strange to me that anyone would limit the killing of hogs though.

Is 14 nilgai and 14 trophy bucks sustainable on 2600 acres?
Hopefully I can find something like this when I am back in the states next year.
This is super!

who can afford 6000 dollars for a deer lease ? the line will form to the left. you would be surprised.
If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.

This is super! No. Too many hunters and the quota is too large. $32 per acre is a bit steep. One hunter to every 500 acres is ideal. He's running a hunter to every 180 acres. For this price there are much better deals in South Texas.

This is super! Not sure if the property is low fenced, but if it is, they may be relying on the fact that it sits right next to the wildlife refuge that has a lot of nilgai, hogs and deer. So if that is the case don't understand the limit???

The Ranch is low fenced and is next to the king ranch norias division which I believe is over 200,000 acres.
I've hunted on ranches like these with 15+ members and you would probably just see a few guys all week, its not as crowded as you would think.

It would be safe to say it is not still a available considering the last post previous to yours was in 2013.
There are several leases currently available in this section, be a good idea to read through them to see if one fits.
