RNT makes a starter line called Quackhead. Around $20 they have a j frame quackhead with a training CD that is very good for around $30. That's what I would recommend to anyone starting out.

Get a real duck call that will last, spend the $50 bucks and get a Echo Diamond Wood Timber.
