This coming weekend will be my last chance to get down to the lease before season gets here so I finally buckled down and started my tower blind. It is a 4x4 box that I am going to put on top of a tower I had built by Lazyman. It is 4x6 up top so I will have a small landing before getting in the blind.

Here is the tower it is going on top of.

Here is the box I started yesterday. Still need to get a few things done, then tear it apart and start painting it. This is the first one I have built that I plan on tearing down and reassembling at the lease so hopefully all goes well.

added a shelf my wife had sitting in the garage as my shooting rest grin

Looks really good and good luck getting it apart and put back together. I always have had my windows open out and down like these too, but have been thinking of having them open out and up.

Go to home depot and grab a couple 1/2" pulleys and get some para cord off the net to open and close those windows, you will thank me later! Otherwise looks great!

Really a nice set up!

I like it. Beautiful property it's sitting on too.

Thanks guys. Kinda of a pain in the arse to get it all setup by myself but turned out pretty good. I just hope everything goes back together like it should at the lease and the door still works grin

What I did was built the walls and then added an additional frame inside the 4 walls. Then I added the plywood to the roof and attatched to the inner frame that way when I go back together I just have to screw the outer wall frame and inner roof frame together. Atleast that's how it's supposed to work. I plan on getting 3 walls up then installing the roof then adding the last wall since I won't be able to push the roof down into the outer frame.
