A friend just informed me that HEB now has 50# bags of corn for $8.75. It's been a while since I've seen it that low.

It was under $8 per bag at one I was at earlier this week.

Someone posted $7.95 in the last week. I kind of expect it will be in the $6 plus range pretty soon.

Palestine area still seems hung up at about $9.
One of my friends bought at TSC for $8.95.
At least I haven't seen anyone playing tricks with 40 # and 50 # sizes yet. It's still early.

I was approached by a farmer up here in Nebraska that offered to fill 55 gallon drums for $25 each. Straight from his dryer. He must be getting less from the feed lots I guess.

$7.50 a 50lb bag in Glen Rose as of yesterday. Don't know how clean it is though. Coming into Somervell county before you reach the Brazos on US67 next door to the "low water canoe rentals". No name of the company, just a big sign that says. Deer Corn $7.50 a 50lb bag.
Life is too short, as is. Don't chance it. Don't text and drive.

Ya, I know picked up 4 tons last week, and it came out just under 7. I just don't see it going much lower. When the big guys contract their corn they kind of set the market, because they are suppling the little guys. Big guys like gore, L&E, jacoby etc
