I got peppered a couple times! A couple in the hat and the worst was in the back of the neck!

I don't know if you call it peppered when they are still flying horizontal, but yeah, had about 4-5 pellets in the chest from the guy who decided to hunt from the middle of the field next to a pump jack and took a low horizon shot.

A couple times by some dumb arse kids hunting the tank dam above us they shot at everything that flew by I don't know how many scissor tails I watched them drop. The bad part was their dad was right there cheering them on.

How about this one. I took a straight up shot at some high whitewings and had the wad come down and hit me square on top of the head. 32yrs of bird hunting and I,ve never heard of that happening.

I got it several times but it was more of a high shot soft rain down. Didn't bother me a bit, nothing unsafe and the bird numbers were some of the best I've ever had.

I did, got 2 pellets good to the chest, scared the crap out of me. Had quite a few shots hit the tree around my head when we switched and were hunting a tank.
I know guys were excited about it being opening day but seems like people were not paying attention to shooting lanes

Just once from a high shot from the adjacent property. Funny I was with my son and told him do NOT shoot over that road no matter what. 5 minutes later BOOM and the lead rain. Saw the guy shoot birds over our field several times.

Caught lead rain more than a few times but harmless as it was just barely moving. Did catch it pretty bad one time though. One pellet penetrated into my neck and had to squeeze it out. Blood all over my hands for a while. Totally an accident but an avoidable one.

Lead rain is normal...I've never been hit hard by pellets.
Dear Lord please bullwhip me for saying this but I agree, Marcstar is in the lead. Please nobody use this as a quote!!!
