you can cut just about anything that will fit in the tube to fit.

A stick, a dowel, anything. Personally I would go to Lowes and buy a dowel and cut to size.

two similar gauge and length empty hulls above the spring plunger. I have used live ones but you're taking a chance of the primers detonating, that would be doubtful but could happen.
I can make 'em go! and I can make 'em whoa! God makes 'em DO! I carry the gun and blow the whistle.

If the gun is new check the box. The plug is usually taped to the packaging.

Or if you happen to have a wood lathe you could turn one out of a broomstick, but I would probably just go to academy..

Speaking of that, think I'm gonna go check out mine in now... I did notice I have a couple pieces of dowel rods in my bird bag just in case someone else forgets.

My bubby carries a couple of his extra extended chokes in his magazine tube. Not sure exactly how he does it I think its an old Remington 1187 -1100.

I've used any and everything you can cut to size that will fit loose in the spring. If you use a fresh cut tree limb don't forget to take it out.

If you go to Lowes and get a dowel, wander over to plumbing and get a couple rubber O-rings to slide over it. Cuts down on the rattling.

Something rings a bell about somebody getting a ticket last year because he didn't have an actual plug, he had a broken stick. Not sure why I'm thinkin that.
