I've been getting mine from Academy for $6.99 for 40 lbs. I tried some of the corn from Dicks before bow season opened and it is extremely dirty! I'll pay a dollar or two extra before I buy from Dicks again.

I pay $5.25 per bag, but I order 2 tons at a time. I also use Indian corn at my feeders. I have noticed that the deer will stay on it longer, and they seem to like it better than regular corn. We have been feeding it for a few years now and it it really working. We feed year around and do ont have livestock on the place. I have some food plots out along with peas, standing corn, and chili peppers. The deer love the peppers, and the peas.
I feed Indian Corn, the deer really seem to like it and stay at the feeder longer......and longer....!

I bought two sacks of corn in Wichita Falls @ the Wal Mart off of Kell Blvd this week. When I got to the lease to put them in my feeder I found that the corn was clumped up and molded. Talk about being pissed off!! I should have taken it back and got my money back, but I just spread it around for the hogs. When I was in Academy today, I ran into a friend of mine that works there and he said that I am the 4th person to tell him about this problem from that store. So any Wichita Falls area hunters beware of the corn being sold at Wal Mart!!
That's my $.02. Here's you're change!!

I'm sure yall have figured out that those sacks are not waterproof. My husband bought a pallet of corn from WalMart in Azle...the same thing happened to him. He called me from the lease pissed off! He had about 10 sacks sour. When I went back to WalMart, I saw why. They have it stacked in the garden center against the fence. On the opposite side of the fence (outside), they have landscape bricks stacked for the rain/dew to run off the roof, hit the bricks and splash the sacks. I went to the customer service desk and told them about the problem. They were busy and not real interested in my complaint. Just one more reason why I hate shopping there.
