If you could only hunt one animal for the rest of your life, what would it be? I got into ducks in a big way last year and im not sure that I care to hunt much else anymore.

mature whitetails...that could change i suppose IF i ever get a few on the wall, but for now the game is too addicting.

Whitetail in a close decision only due to the length of season, bag limits and their home range across the North American Continent. Mule Deer would be a close second though. Nothing better than hunting them both in the areas that have both.

I gotta' go with dove, as much for the barrel burning fun as for the camaraderie. Deer hunting's great and all, but when's the last time you shouted "deer!" to your hunting buddy when you saw one walking in the general direction of his stand?
