Went and shot clays yesterday getting ready for my first dove hunting trip down to San Antonio. Pretty excited about it, they say there are a ton of white wings and just doves in general down there.

depending on where your hunting, you have the odds in your favor to do good.
we hunt on the southeastern side of town and last week I went out there and saw hundreds and hundreds of whitewings.
we get to the point where we pass up mourning doves there are so many whitewing
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Any one know of a good guide in sanatonio ill be down there with the wife weekend of the 7 may need to get in a good hunt.

Yea I am pretty excited about it. I get to shoot birds in Louisiana and Arkansas but never been down there.
