Ok so I volunteer at a shelter and these two came in today. I been wanting a lab and I know these are not full blood but they look like a lab pup to me . They have ghost spots on there ears kinda like a Dalmatian. What do y'all think??

Think I be worth a try??

Love them.

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

From what I have learned from this forum any dog can be a hunting dog. It comes down to training and the dogs drive.

I'm no expert though. Hard to tell at this age really. When I was in high school I rescued a dog that was supposed to be pointer/lab mix and it looked about like that. Grew up and ended up looking just like a pit.

Love them both, so beautiful! Wishing I had room for at least one of them.

Mutts RULE!

If you like their temperament and they seem into you then by all means give'em a home and a chance to prove to you what they can do.

From what I recall, Dalmatian pups start out all white... if he's more Dalmatian than lab, he will not make a good hunting dog imo...

I recently took in a stray that my brother found near Houston. Looks very similar. Where are you located?
