Is there anyone that knows anything about soft tanning hides at home? i just recently learned to skin animals and i have quite a few hides left over from winter that i dont know what to do with. I would like to know how to get them in condition to be put in my room.

I use a tanning kit from Van Dykes taxidermy. They sell it at cabelas or if you decide that you like it you can order larger amounts from van dyke taxidermy. It is called Van Dyke's Lutan F tanning kit. It is what I use and I soft hides with no hair slipping. If you have any questions just send me a pm.
