Wanting to book a pheasant hunt for myself sometime soon. Don't have a dog and will hunt alone. Looking for references of who to use that guides single hunters or can fit me in a group. Thanks.

Years ago I hunted quail on the SM Brown Game Bird Ranch in Nocona Texas and had a great experience (it was a paid corp event). His property holds pheasants and chukar partridge as well. He used dogs and they were amazing to watch in action. That experience stands out to me as singularly the best bird hunting I've had in Texas. You can PM me if you want more info.

I don't know where you're located, but the Santa Anna Hunting Area offers pheasant, quail, chucker. Since the birds are not prevalent here like they are a little further north, the birds are pen-raised and placed in the fields prior to the hunts. They're about 15-20 minutes west of Brownwood. Best of luck!
