so yea. im looking fora pretty decent varmint gun haven't been in this hunting thing to long but me and buddy pulled up to deer feeder one night to move it. bad idea. had a few decent sized hogs about 250 lbs or so i proceded to unload on it with a 375 winchester.. shot his front right and back left leg about midway up. one through the lung. and several near his spine about 8 shots total.. that was a scary feeling when that thing was still moving after i figured out two of his legs were broken lung deflated and few other gut shots.

I prefer to hunt hogs and varmits with a bow, but once in a great while that is not an option so I've got a AR 15 chaimbered in .50 Beowulf that does a nasty job on any size hog.
