I know it works with IR and night vision, don't see why it wouldn't work in the visible spectrum to some extent. It'll probably be bright as crap though.

I thought the idea of being able to switch from laser to trail light was a cool idea. Better then having two components on your gun.

These are pretty neat, and I have seen them work on hogs. There are some good videos on youtube that show these in action. You may want to save some coin and buy the regular ND3 instead of the subzero unless you go up North for hunting.

Those seem really neat! For a pretty good price too. I agree with texas724 about the sub zero comment.... here in Texas we dont really need it unless you are hunting in a freezer.... o.o

I have one and I have shot a few hogs with it. They spook about 1/2 the time I put it on them. There is no doubt they can see it. I have spooked coons with it as well. I night hunt with it but use it as a last resort. Glad you got the sub zero, the standard model starts to fail at 50 degrees or cooler.

I have the nd3 and ill second that below 50 degrees they start to dim a little. I taped handwarmers to mine and it worked great.
If you are able to remember stupid stuff the next day, your doing it wrong.
At least anything worthy of mentioning.

That looks really cool, I am scared by the price though, seems cheap for night vision.

What part of Texas do you live in if you don't mind me asking? I live about an hour away from Dallas and around here we go headlighting (I don't know if it is real, that is what everyone calls it around here). Headlighting is where you go driving through big fields (usually a minimum of a few hundred acres) for hogs and when you see them you turn the headlights on, get out and shoot. I have only taken A few with this method but my brother has been successfully doing this for 10 years or more and we have never spooked a hog. I wonder if it has something to do with the green light that spooks them? I am shocked
