I can save a $100.00 buying the hornady lock n load powder dispenser combo vs rcbs. Worth it ? I'm just getting back into loading and have the bare necessities at this point.

Send the extra for the RCBS, I usually do not drink the green koolade but In this case I think it is worth it. Have the Hornady and wish had bought the RCBS or Lyman.

I've had both. Go with the cm1500 and don't look back. Nothing wrong with the hornady if you are using one type of powder and spend the time to fine tune the unit to it.The cm1500 just works and works very well at that.

I have the rcbs and it is great I wouldn't buy anything else. Can comment on the hornady but my buddy had the lyman and it was junk.

I've had one Hornady and two RCBS. Currently have the second RCBS and intend to keep it!

I bought my RCBS used about 40 years ago. It still works with no problems.

RCBS for me. Doesn't mean Hornady is bad.....
I've just always been green.

RCBS is top notch. Take care of it, and it will take care of you.
