Mossberg 930's seem to have disappeared. The 935 which does not cycle the 2 3/4 too well so they labeled them as 3 and 3 1/2 inch only are everywhere. I have called several of their dealers who said "we can't get them". I asked if Mossberg still makes them they said "yes". I have an email into Mossberg now.

Anyone know what's up?

The new Gander in College station will have them.... went in there the other day and its insane how many guns they have... the whole back width of the store is a gun rack

I was on Mossbergs website a lot lately and they just had the DD endorsement on their front page today BUT that model (930) has been hard to find for awhile now.

Good luck finding one, I would check gun gear to go in plano and see if they can get you one. I love mine. I have shot it so much had to put a new firing pin spring in it.

Thanks Navasot. Found that last night when you mentioned College Station. It has the Gloss blued barrel 28 in barrel, and the other one is wood stock. I was hoping to find a 26 inch in matt blk barrel and blk synthetic, or at least a 28 inch in matt. The model comes in many types from security models to waterfowl, turkey deer, and combos. I was really hoping to find the Deer slug barrel and the 26 inch matte barrel combo. I think I found just one in Kentucky. Crazy, they are so hard to find.

I checked able Ammo too.

I had narrowed my selection between the stoeger m2000, weatherby sa 08, and mossberg 930. I read everything i could on them. I want something that could handle 2 3\4 and 3in for dove and duck and has the capability to mount a cantilever slug barrel for my trips to iowa. The weatherby has no cantilever and the stoeger has only a smooth bore. The mossberg 935 does not cycle the 2 3\4. So with a budget under 600 I decided on the 930. Then I tried to find what I want and it has been difficult to say the least.

Ha, yep thats a man eater alright. That is part of my problem. It comes in so many variations, finding yours is hard. The deer bird combo is really hard to find.

The 930 had been the newest "it" shotgun in 3 gun. People were buying up any 930 and converting it to be legal in 3 gun. The jm930 being offered didnt stop folks from buying the first one they found.

I got the 930 tactical at WalMart in Corpus. Cycles the 2 3/4 very well with no problems. I am looking to buy a longer barrel for Duck season though.

I saw the tactical just no need for it. Did not feel the need to pay the same price and then have to turn around and buy a barrel on top of it. I have found a couple now online from small dealers out of state.

Just heard back from Mossberg relating the 930 Shortage. They said the model is in production and are doing everything they can to produce more. They then said I should check out CHEAPER THAN DIRT....... as they may have one, LOL.
