Purchased new Beretta 3901 camo shot gun November 2012. HATE THIS GUN WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY ONE. used it for 6 hunts, jambed every other time I shot it. also camo wearing off at stock. sent it to BERETTA for warranty. they said it is normal for the camo to wear at the stock. Claimed exhaust valve incorrectly installed. I sent the gun broke down without the barrel installed. Don't buy a BERETTAThis may have been a case of

Great first post guy  I love my Beretta's and have never had any problems to speak of. Might want to look real close at an exploded parts diagram and make sure you have everything put together correctly. Also, what kind of shells are you shooting through the gun when it jams?? Some semi autos have trouble cycling 2 3/4" 3/4 oz light load shells during break in.

The 300 series, 300 in 1996, 301, 302 and 303 followed.
The 390/3901 came along and then the 391.
I have 2 391's and wife shoots a 3901. Have shot first time, every time.
Keep the Deet spray off the Camo dipped stocks.
