I really liked the fit and feel of the Cabelas mid top but saw a few negative reviews on the mechanism giving out. Not sure if its a case of a few bad apples in the bunch but wanted to see if anyone else has input, good or bad...

The thrill is in the hunt, but maximized by success. You define success.

I've worn them about 8 times and absolutely love them.

They are super easy to put on and take off. That is important to me because I don't bend as well as I used to.

Since they are a Cabela's Brand, I believe they have a lifetime workmanship guarantee. You might check.

If mine ever break, I'm getting more.
