Search function, lots of good info.
I'll take a Black Female every time.

I have one...I'm not a fan of their digital dial from 1-127 for intensity of stimulus. I prefer the rigid dial of the Tri Tronics collars. The dial on the dogtra remote is too easily moved inadvertently, and I find myself always checking to make sure it is at the intensity that it needs to be at...you don't have to do that with a TT. I also find it too easy to accidently filp the switch on the back from regular intensity to mild intensity(assuming you get a model that offers it). Those are just my observations...I would lean toward getting a TT system.

I have two and have never had any problems.
Think I need to replace the batteries on the first one though. I think I finally wore them out.

I have the 1200NC that my dad bought me for my birthday about 8-9 years ago. It has been the best training tool I have ever used on stubborn dogs. I just recently had to order new batteries for the first time but the collar battery they sent me was bad and had a melt down shortly after I plugged it in. I sent the battery back but still haven't heard a word from them on it.

You won't go wrong with Dogtra... I started with tri-tronics 23 years ago and will stay with them. They've always done right by me. My second choice would be Dogtra. A very good collar.

I have the dogtra edge. No complaints it's worked great. It keeps charge for days and its never died on me. People complain they you can't use it with one hand but once you get the hang of it one handed is a none issue.

I sent the battery back but still haven't heard a word from them on it. Got the battery last night after I posted this.

I have had the same one since 1997 never had to replace a thing but one probe because I didn't tighten it down. They make a really nice collar
