Any recommendations on outfitters/guides for an August or early September deer hunt?
I won't be able to hunt much this October and November and would like to take a mature free range velvet buck. Flying or driving won't be an issue.

may not help much but either field and stream or outdoor life had an article within the last year or two that pretty much told you were to go to get bucks in velvet...u might try searching their websites.
If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.

Alberta allows an early Archery hunt for WT and MD I believe around the first Sept.
