I built this changing table for my grandson a little over four years ago. It's made from Maple I salvaged from a storm, sawed the logs, milled the lumber (I've got a sawmill)and built the changing station. It's Maple with about 7 coats of Waterlox, Eastern Red Ceder drawers, adjustable shelves and the top removes so it converts to a chest of drawers.
