Great aoudad! I know of one found dead just off of HWY 16 south of HWY 46. He was just of 40" on one side and 39" on the other but had a bit less mass than this one. He has never been entered and I cannot remember the score but IRRC he was just under yours.

That is a heck of an Aoudad. What part of the county is the Cravens Ranch in? I have caught a couple of young Aoudad in snares and last October there was a really big male in the goat pen behind the house. Have never seen him again.

kmon1, Thanks for uploading some of the pictures and for the instructions, I will upload a few more! Curtis, Thanks! I was very pleased with the quality of the mount. I am not sure if you grabbed one of the post cards we had printed up and were on the table but I realized yesterday that I made a typo and put down the previous ROE record instead of my score. OOPS!!! I put on the card that he scored 130-7/8, that was the old record, he actually scored a 131-4/8... Axisking, I have typed out the story and will get it uploaded. The hunt was at my family ranch that has been in our family for over 100 years (which makes it that much more special to me!). It is located in Bandera County Texas. Sheephunter, Thanks! Now let's see how this picture thing works:  Mr. Whitetail himself Larry Weishuhn!

No I didnt get a card. But I know those taxidermist guys that did that booth and remember the moose they did last year with a bear cub coming out the back. They do some really good work and attention to detail. I visited with them about an hour or so. They seem to be good people.

I saw the ram many times over this past weekend at the banquet, and photos simply DO NOT do justice to this animal. The mass at the bases was nothing less than incredible!! Congratulations on a damn fine trophy Ross!!
