As in starting right now? No.
Save your money, get the feeders built and ready for January.

Yes, absolutely. Fawns hitting the ground right now are your future. Every doe that starts will train her fawn(s) to eat protein during this time. Much easier to train and hold the buck fawns on feed right now than in Jan or Feb. Any of the bucks that start eating now will use it from now on. All of those deer that start eating right now will stay closer to the feeder area than if you don't. Finally if you feed year round you will start to see improvements in the overall deer herd much faster.

Set up two feeders, one for protein, one for corn operating year round. Build a pen with at least 10-12 hog/cattle panels.

Too many deer for sure
The old lease manager didn't want us shooting as many deer as TPWD wanted us to on the MLD 3 permits
We thinned out more last season under the new manager and will be taking out more this season..

Well just so y'all know, if I don't start feeding protein then I will go ahead and start feeding corn... And if I am feeding protein, how will the fawn get any? Will they eat the stuff that falls out. And by the way I'm only hunting 250 acres so I can do what I can to help them but I'm not sure how much managing I'll be able to accomplish because I've never hunter here before

Protein is the same price as corn.
Feed that

Can you get protein to run out of a broadcast feeder? I have seen how fast they empty a protein feeder.. I can't go out every weekend to fill them up nor can I afford to!
I know when the acorns drop they stop coming to corn but will hit protein and Golden Nuggets at least on our property.
I don't expect nor really even want to shoot a big buck at a feeder I just want to pull in as many does as possible as bait!
Of course, everyone is doing the same thing!

And by the way I'm only hunting 250 acres so I can do what I can to help them but I'm not sure how much managing I'll be able to accomplish because I've never hunter here before Sunset, you can still do something for the herd, although it won't affect the bucks antlers as much as it can affect their body sizes and overall health given you are starting later in the year. Protein will be utilized much more readily than corn, which benefits the deer very little. As for the 250 acres part, you can do a lot in making it a desirable place to stay, which will help you at least see more deer and do your part in making them bigger and healthier. The fawns will get benefits from their mothers through their milk.
Having said that, shot placement is key and there is only one level of dead. Us east Texans can't afford turquoise and elk ivories for jewelry. So we use hog tushes and coon peckers.

The fawn will follow the doe to the feeder and start eating or picking at forage/pellets at 12 weeks of age more or less. If the feeder is in a pen, I have seen fawns jump into 34" tall hog panel pens at 3-4 months of age and I have seen a 4 month old buck fawn jump into a food plot over a 47" net wire fence in South Texas in October. They learn to do a lot of things from the doe. You will have to be the one to gauge if feeding will or will not work for you.
