I use mustard when I fry venison or elk. It adds that little bite.

Do you save your cooking oil?

I mix Louisiana hot sauce and mustard. Turns a little pink. Add little Tony Chachere's Spicy. then dip in corn mill. Fry until golden brown

That is what I thought when I watch a buddy fry fish in it one night at the deer lease, but it was pretty dang good.

Heck, I'd try it. Just sounds nasty LOL. I'm one of those guys who doesn't put ketchup or tartar sauce on my fish either. They only time I have is if I'm eating catfish or shark that tastes funny, to me it's like putting ketchup on a good steak. Anyway, I've heard that you don't taste much of it after cooking. confused2

You guys must really hate the taste of fish. Mustard on crappie should be an editable crime. :'(
