One time i was on this lease with my long time friend Marc (pitchfork predator) and since i don't really hunt he turned me on to this little trail that some quail travaled. well me and another guest took our shotgun and weny down and staked out the trail. we were sitting there talking smoking cigerettes and sure enough here came the quail. they have one thats like a look out for the covy.well befor we could raise our shotguns this hawk came sweeping though the trees where we were sitting and snatched that lookout quail right in front of us. he came so close that i felt the air movement off his wings. and that was one of the coolest things i ever saw.

i'm lenny tooman. i'm really not a hunter but a shooter. i still go to the deer lease with my longtime friend.thats how i got started building deer blinds.i was tired of setting in the cold so i started building blinds everyone could afford.

That reminds me of a mornining something similar happened. Watching a covey of bob's on natural clearing with high grass bordering it. All of the sudden something spooked the covey and they all take off. Up from the tall grass edge leaps a bobcat and snatches one mid-air with his two front paws. Just wish I could of captured it on camera.
