What type of gun rest do everyone use? When I see small groups people shot I often wonder what they used. I can never get steady with just sand bags that are made for shooting .

I've tried most everything on the market, and in my opinion nothing beats sandbags...

Leadsled

I don't smoke ,so I can't say but I highly doubt it. I do know a loud fart works! I think they like the smell plus I guess they think it's a buck grunt.

Ditto on Leadsled. Have used one for several years especially for working up loads. Coupled with a solid bench it cannot be beat.

Bipod or most often old shot bags filled with sand or well rock.

What it boils down to is use what you are comfortable with and can get the best results.
