ok ..try to imagine this...a pipeline with a small patch of woods on the left and a large patch on the right...last year I hunted the small patch where I seen rubs on every tree..however..I was facing with the pipline to my back where a nice 8 came out but I couldnt shoot behind me..should I hunt the big patch where he came out or hunt facing the pipeline?

Not the ground !! I would put my stand on the pipe line in a thick tree that will hide you .Then you can see where they cross and move down if needed .
