I hunt in Mississippi every fall/winter and the skeeters can get ugly. I use an earth scented thermacell and i've never had an issue with bugs. I can hear em, but they dont bite!

Tx They were just scared of you  & your natural repellent  Where I am, so long as it isn't windy, mosquitoes, gnats, and flies (including the evil biting flies) all seem to be repelled just fine. After the October rains last season, flying insects were everywhere. Thermacell worked great with all them. You could almost see the barrier by the cloud of insects a foot and a half away from my face.

I have six and never hunt without one. Well I did it, you guys swayed me, and since Chris has a beard also I always trust a fellow Bearder!!
