One of the guys I hunt with has a trap on our lease, but it's been out of commission for a few months now. I've been out a few times over the last couple of weeks to get some work done etc., so I decided to start baiting up the area each time I made a trip. Finally set it Saturday night, and look what we found Sunday morning!

Giving the black one to the friend who helped clean and quarter them, and the other three go to my wife's grandparents. They're getting up there in age and don't really get to hunt much anymore, so they we're ecstatic when they heard we've got a delivery for them!

Hahaha that's the truth. We have quite a few constantly passing through our lease. I love hunting them, but these four were part of group that's been hanging around one particular feeder since February when I orphaned them. I guess they didn't know where to go without mama, so they never left and have been hitting that feeder like clock work - gobbling everything up before the deer or turkey can get to it. These four make eight from that group I've taken out so far. The remaining few should be well educated by now
