When I purchased my license last month, I also purchased the Federal Duck Stamp. They issued a 45 day temp stamp and the physical stamp was received this week. Also, APHP maps are are available on the tpwd wedsite.

Thought the Fed was obtained at the Post Office?

Yep The Post Office, TPWD and a few license retailers also have them now .

Denton area requires a permit from the city which cost $20 last year.

I'll probably avoid that area of the lake then; This year's hunt planning has got expensive quick! (I need to buy waders and some decoys of my own). Next year shouldnt be so expensive. (Yeah... right.. lol )
