I'm just starting to try and mount ducks for myself and was wondering if or how I can skin and clean birds and store to mount on a later day? I tried mountin one without watching the video or any previous experience and didn't get wing and feathers place very well. Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated.

It's not a problem. If your going to work on it the next day, put it in the fridge overnight. If longer, put it in a zip lock and add enough water to cover the skin, remove the air, and refreeze. The water keeps the skin from drying out. You can store them a long time that way.

I skin, flesh, and wash all my birds. Put a ziplock snide a piece of 4" PVC. Zips and freeze. This allows u to write info on tube and tag. Many of these birds have been in the freezer 5+ yrs. good as new.

That is a great storage idea.
