My father and I will be hunting in Carthage 07/05-07/07. Where are the best places to eat, anything we need to see/do while we are in the area?

The only thing good about Carthage is its close to the casinos in Shreveport.

I'm guessing hogs or high fence exotics.

I went to Milano's Italian food there, last time I was in town and it sucked. The dude that runs it was very nice... I wanted to like it... but the guy that he has running his kitchen is obviously malcontent... anyway it sucked.

I read good things about Daddy Sam's but they were closed... it was Sunday

Did not find a good place in Carthage. My food at Jalapeno was okay but wife got food poisoning from hers. That was in March this year.
