I bought a Colt M4 Carbine LE6920 and was wanting to put a long quad rail on it, but to do this I need a gas block. I would like to buy a VLTOR low profile one but I not sure of the difference between a .625 and a .750 bore. Can anyone help me.

.625 is going to be a lightweight skinny barrel. .750 is normal size barrel and there is a .9 something for heavy barrel . My guess is urs is a .750

The LE6920 carbine profile should fit a .750 gas block. I think that unless you have a bull barrel or a pencil profile, you will fit a .750 gas block.

Thank you sir I was thinking that but i wasn't completely sure of it. Because I know that my barrel is heavier than the old A1 style because it has the M203 notches but I didn't know if the .625 was like the A1 or it had the notches too. Here is a link to show what I mean http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=608948

If u wanting to save Lil Money I cut down my a2 sights and contour them with a drimel to fit under the float tube. Takes 15 min or so and saves money

Troy is making a free float rail that goes past the front sight without having to remove it.
