I was driving out to my feeder to see if I had and hogs on camera which I didn't but just deer seen hogs in that spot where feeder is before was leaving on taylor valley a hog ran out in front of truck would like to get one any ideas

Drive around about an hour or two before dark looking for the Game Wardens. They'll have the most current info on the where abouts of pig sightings on ft. Hood.

Yep hogs on hood are lousy, everywhere, and all over, sour up some corn, dig holes around your feeder and give it a day or so, if you got them on camera, they will find it for sure then just wait on the killing.

GW will give you minimal info on pigs, get with the trappers at the environmental group right next to sportsman center, Brian and Tom are stand up guys.

I could take you to a spot where I know there are hogs but I would almost guarantee your stuff would get stolen....I know because mine did...

I've been itching to go do some scouting the past 2 days for hogs on FT. Hood. I just got my Elusive Wildlife Technologies XLR100 light for my Bow and the Kill Light used to hang under the feeder.

I think it's 22...I'll have to pull my map out and look....it's a little place tucked off the side of the tank trail. It is one bumpy SOB to get to though....

Talked to the Wildlife Biologist yesterday and he said they are seeing a lot of hogs back on Hood now they just are not having much success trapping them.

I suggest you talk to Kevin Cagle and get the latest poop on them as it is his job to track em.

yeah it isn't too bad up on top of the hill...Just real bumpy..I'll get with you sometime and show you the way up in there and that spot...I'd almost guarantee you a hog kill with a bow.

The area I was in is 21....NICE lil spot about 200 yards off the tank trail. I'm taking Ski0617 out there in a couple of weekends to show him where it's at. he should kill one pretty quick if they are still in there!!

Ft Hood has had hogs since the late 1960's. I went down there to see a guy I had served with in Vietnam, we were going back to the barracks to drop him off and there was some by the parade ground.

Yep those are good hog areas for sure, DO NOT go to 105/104 unless you want to lose your hard earned equipment.

Also if ya like a drive go to 301/302/303 that is some good hog hunting right there boys or it was 2 years ago.

Up in the 300's the gov heli Hunters were shooting all kinds of pigs up in that area in Feb/March time frame.

I used to kill them back in 2005 off east range rd.
