I love my Marbles knife. One thing I don't like though is I got the handle wet and now the handle feels rough and not nice like it used to feel when new. Any tips on helping that out?

Yes.. its easy... sand paper.. fine grit 400 and then go higher from there...after first sanding when you get to cleaner material you can put some vegetable oil or olive oil on the leather.. it will soak it up.. just a little at a time... and then polish.. or you can sand first then do like a beeswax rub it into it and heat it with a hair dryer to melt the bees wax into it.. like a water proofing.... Most knives of these qualitys and or build are not made to be submerged in water.. save that for the plastic or composite handle stuff that has no glue or leather.. I learned the hard way too.. our knives you use on your game then clean them with damp rag mild degergant..no soaking or harsh scrubing.. I have a marbles knife similar to yours and it got all ugly until I cleaned and polished it up.. looks almost new again. Hope that helps..!

Thanks for the tip! I learned the hard way I guess lol. It was a gift and I picked out which knife/blade I wanted. They are all beautiful knives, I'm just used to washing them under a hose or in the sink after skinning/gutting.
