How did yall do? I had already promised not to go today.(before Ike) so I did not go out even tho it is not bad over here. So post up your stories.

Guided 2 guys from OK. Shot 5 should have had a limit but um really dont know why we only got 5... I am very tired but looking forward to tomorrow morning though..

I could not go due to our 3rd baby boy born on Wednesday coming home from the hospital today but,I did get a report from my lease out west. 3 hunters on one lake got 9 and 2 hunters on another limited.

I passed. I was supposed to go tomorrow, Monday, but have opted to go dove hunting. Will go later in the week or next week.

we did all right Saturday morning. Ended up with 3 limits out of 4 guys. Not a lot of birds although the ones that showed up lit in the spreads

I went, but it was fairly uneventful. All the birds that I scouted on Wed. were gone. I'm not sure if it was the hurricane or what, but we didn't see 1/10th of the birds that I had found earlier in the week.

This was the first year in about 5yrs I missed opening weekend of Teal. From the reports I got in some of my favorite areas, I missed out.
My lease in El Campo actually had a few birds, but no one hunted due to the Hurricane. Looks like I will be headed down that way this weekend. Nothing like an early teal hunt followed up with an afternoon of fishing for reds and trout!
