I have just finished my Axis hunt with Double Arrow, I was rifle hunting and connected with this boy at 205 yards. Field measurements are 32,33 by 26.5 inches wide. I used my 40 year old Model 70 with 168 grain Barnes TTSX over 56 grains of IMR 4350.

Curtis has alot of great looking animals and I thought the Barasingha were very impressive. I lost track of how many Axis we saw but I know there are at least two out there bigger than this one.
Thanks Curtis I had a great time.

Congrats! Heck of a bruiser with great mass, and a heck of a jug head on him as well.

Great mass!

A real hunter never returns empty handed. Spending time in the wilderness temporarily satifies the soul, but leaves us longing for more.

I had a great time, and he was a big body deer as well I keep the back strap tenderloin and ribs and still got 86 pounds of hamburger from that deer. Cooked a few burgers for Memorial Day and they were a big hit.
Thanks Curtis

DOUBLE ARROW IS NOT HUNTING. IT IS KILLING. ANYBODY CAN GET ANY ANIMAL WITHIN 3 HOURS. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE THAT IS CALLED HUNTING. THIS IS NOT HUNTING.
