Does anyone have any experience with any of these or have any recommendations? I am wanting a video camera that can mount to my rifle or scope to film some hunts. This is the only one I could find..... http://www.natchezss.com/product.cfm?con...=08162012OpticsThanks!

One thing I would expect is recoil will knock the view of the target off so might not get the "kill shot" on video
lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch

what rifle set up are you trying to use?
Theres so many go pro mounts I would think you could make that work with one of their mounts modified to fit your gun. If your running a muzzle break you might be able to minimize the recoil affect on the video.

I wanted something I could switch between guns....I have a 17 HMR, .223, 7mm-08 I would probably use it on. The GoPro's are kinda bulky, I wanted something that could mount over the scope or under the barrel....

When I was at Academy, we sold a couple of the Bushnell cameras and the only thing I heard back was that it was a little bulky to operate and the on/off button was hard to operate at times.

I know many people do it, but I think on your head is the least intrusion and it also is filming where you are looking, like if animal is walking around your side. On your gun you either have to move weapon with the animal or you only film it when taking aim.

We kept it as a pet for several months until it got run over by a truck. Then we ate him.

Been thinking on this myself...saw a youtube vid of a guy who mated a small videocam to his scope, then used the viewing screen to sight in, also worked as night vision using IR.

I got one of these for Christmas and found it was more of a hassle than it was worth. I'm sure if was my Android phone, but I found I had a really hard time getting it focused. It was also next to impossible to get a picture on my phone until there was a lot of daylight. So trying to use it at first light was out. The last problem I had with it was that it blocks the bolt. So basically, you load the rifle, spend 10 minutes trying to get it focused, take one shot, take it off to reload and then you get to spend another 10 minutes trying to get everything focused again. They say it fits large eyepieces, but it barely fit over my Vortex Diamondback 4x12 (I don't think it's overly large). The screws you use to tighten it to the eyepiece have felt tips on them to keep it from scratching. However, I had to pull them off 1/2 of the screws to get it to fit on the scope. So I have lots of scratches on the eyepiece of my scope. Not a big deal for me, but I know some folks are very picky about how their scopes look.
Thanks, Rich

WTH! So what! Stack em up like cord wood! Kill em all, let the buzzards sort em out!
Guess you'd be mad at me iffin I was a guest. He-he-he. Why I got a suppressor so's I can cycle the bolt and hit another one or two or three.

Aha, vanguard, it was your post I was looking for and remembering lol. Forgot you were using it on a 22 hornet, wondering now if mine might have to much kick for it.

I don't have that attitude either. Hogs are corn thieves, and plows that do me no good. I just hate them more than you.
Still, some good videos!
