Must be a newer joint. I moved from the Old East Dallas area 3-4 years ago. I was a unofficial tour guide for local eats in that area!

JC Burgers in Allen and Plano...
Their burgers are incredible! They will make them exactly as you order them. There is a reason why you will see the same team cooking and serving.

i really am a fan of a big homemade burger but i am finding myself more and more wanting a dang in and out double burger with that big solid slice of onion...plus its one of the only places my kids will eat so we go quite often.
If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.

There's a dang good burger at Olive Burger in Richardson, corner of Arapaho & Custer. Dang good!
Off topic, their chicken & spinach sandwich is excellent.

At at a place called Haystack Burgers and Barley in Richardson. It just opened up a couple weeks ago and I was pretty impressed. I got the chicken fried burger that is topped with jalapeno bacon gravy. I thought it was pretty good, but I am a sucker for anything deep-fried. The fries and onion strings were pretty good too. Off-Site Kitchen is still my favorite, but I would go back here in a heart-beat.

I went there last week on my way to visit my folks in Alvarado and it was a great burger. Very impressed and loved the homemade bun.

I have heard a couple of people tell me how good their burgers are! Well, if we're gonna take a road trip for a burger, just go straight to Meers, OK and get a seismic burger. None better.

Unless you're a biker and out for a ride, don't waste your gas Stub. The burger is made from longhorn cattle so it doesn't have a whole lot of fat. It's large in diameter but real thin. I went in thinking I was going to have a great burger. Was completely unimpressed.

Hop Doddys in Dallas rocks but the line to get a burger sucks. There has been times I waited for over an hour to eat at the one in Austin

I thought it was a decent burger, but not worth waiting in line for 30 minutes to an hour. The fries were more impressive than the burger was.

Not exactly from DFW...but I am from DFW so it must count for something. Guys Burger Joint on the Carnival Triumph out of Galveston This is the "Piggie Patty"...single meat, double cheese, and a patty made of bacon! This is my 2nd attempt at Guys Burger Joint and a creation of my own making. I call it the "Quadra Pig"...4 meats, 8 cheese, 4 bacon patties. Side of bacon fries with ranch.
