ya I wouldn't use them over a period of time or ur gonna have to buy a barrel can ea ur treads on choke and spin ur inside of ur barrel rifle slugs spin in barrel. smooth bore slugs spin when they leave barrel.

Well, in that case you're limited to Fosters, standard slugs. NO SABOTS IN A SMOOTHBORE. I've had decent luck using my action as a rear receiver. If the top of the action is grooved you can kind of use that with the bead as a set of sights. Just get the front bead cantered and play with it. If you have more chokes besides MOD figure out which shoots best with slugs. I'm bettin on the modified.

Other then down the road needing a new barrel what is wrong with a sabot in a smooth bore? Yes this barrel has the rail and bead.

Sabot's are only for rifled bbls. In short, they don't allow for the extra pressure (caused by the sabot) to pass by, like a Foster does, and there's a 50/50 chance it will banana your barrel and maybe take out an eye or two in the process. Your call.

Ok I just pulled the bow out and took 5 arrows at 30yrds put them in a 2" group so taking it with me.

No problem. I use to shoot my bow a lot and took 2nd in the state of Colorado in a lower class 7 yrs ago and have shot a lot since. Just never hunted with a bow. So what the heck it is only a hog. I miss I miss. Then I get my 7mm mag from my nephew after he gets a hog and make a Hog have a bad day with my 7mm mag.
